The VS-17 Panel Marker is an essential piece of kit to carry. This version is the "official" GI issue panel marker.
Used to mark drop zones, landing zones or anything friendly. They are easily laid out on the ground or attached to vehicles, tents, buildings as well as the forward edge of friendly areas. Especially important for danger close missions. These marker panels are used anytime anything needs to be identified from the air as a "friendly" to prevent from being fired upon.
The VS-17 Panel Marker comes equipped with the sewn on storage pouch, 550 cord tie downs for attachment to just about anything and has snaps so that multiple signal panels can be joined together. The VS-17 Signal Panel Marker has both a high visibility pink side and a high visibility orange side and is standard issue and recognized for also identifying persons in distress to search teams and aircraft. The VS-17 is manufactured using a super tough laminated specialty fabric that won't easily be torn from wind or rotor wash as lighter weight panels. Issue VS-17 Signal Panel Marker measures 24" x 70" and is designed to be connected to other panels for greater visability. These panels can be used in conjunction with our RAM marker as well.
