This is an "old school" product that we made originally in 1982 for a special unit. These were the days before body armor & hard plates. We planned to phase it out but the demand is still there from our customers. Funny how things come full circle sometimes.
Production overruns from a military special operations contract. Ideal for general purpose, emergency or covert operations. This strike vest is the choice of many PSD contractors as well as police officers and soldiers who require a chest pouch configuration to hold magazines. Easily worn over body armor or covertly under civilian clothes.

I got one of these in black a few months ago and after having used it a bit, I think it's still a great piece of gear. Easy to throw on, easy to adjust, and excellent to carry mags in. It's durable and worth every penny. The only issue that it has is that the GP pouches are too big for modern radios but too small for a canteen or a Nalgene bottle. I think a slight redesign of the GP pouches to make them a touch bigger would be a great addition to an already excellent product. Other than that, it is an excellent product whether you're doing a Delta impression or not.
Second one of these rigs I have had the pleasure of owning. These have a lot value for such an old design. 1000d, not many snag points, very low profile, versatile side pockets (radio, small ifak, even water bottles will fit them). The real selling point though is the price. $125 is extremely good value for what you get (considering other places will charge in the $200 range for a 500d velcro placard). Would recommend AWS strike.
Built to last and there is a reason this thing has been around so long, because it’s a great DA system. Hesitate not as it will last and isn’t a cheaply made item.
