The LIGHT ASSAULT BELT SYSTEM (LAB™) is an exclusive product available only from AWS, Inc. A culmination of years of engineering, testing, retesting, testing again and a lot of hard work. So many of our military and special operations customers provided "real world" operational input as to the gear problems they experienced in training and combat operations. We cannot thank them enough for their input. Our staff took all of that to task to make a better product. Took longer than we expected but it is here now. The basic individual belt is a two piece system consisting of an outer and inner belt. The outer belt is made from TACWEAVE nylon webbing for an extra stiff construction to support the load of fully loaded magazines, holsters, etc. We only use high quality USA made raw materials. Our QC department fully inspects ALL raw materials upon delivery to ensure conformity and specifications. Everything from the webbing to the thread. We take great care with the manufacture of these belts. So much that we have several specially modified Juki AMS-210E computerized pattern sewing machines especially for this item. Our engineering department programmed a special sewing pattern for maximum strength, carefully calculating the threads per inch, direction and angle of the "WW" pattern. We outfitted the machine with a very special clamping system made in our machine shop that secures the belt and the buckle at the same time for exact positioning prior to sewing. This entire specially modified computerized pattern machine is used only for this these belts. Each belt is sewn exactly the same. All belts are fully inspected three (3) times before they even get to packaging. Once you see the belt you will see the USA made quality.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you purchase the basic starter belt for $74.37, a 2" wide black inner belt comes with it. (Most tactical pants have 2" belt loops.) Simply thread the inner belt through your tactical pants belt loops. The inner belt now becomes your regular belt to hold up your pants. The inner belt is made from a stiff 2" wide nylon and has loop sewn to the outside face. When you wear your outer belt, the two belts combine into a very neat and secure belt that contains all of your shooting gear. All of your pouches, holster, etc are trapped between the inner and outer belt using the pants belt loops as an attachment point. The belt stays in place and will not move up or down since it is secured by the belt loops. NO MORE OF THE SHOOTING BELT CREEPING UP YOUR BACK WHEN YOU RUNNING A TACTICAL COURSE, CONDUCTING TACTICAL OPERATIONS OR SIMPLY BENDING OVER! If you need to take a break, simply release the COBRA buckle and the outer belt will separate from the inner belt and you are free from the shooters belt system.

WHAT HOLDS YOUR POUCHES ON THE BELT?

The heart of the LAB™ system is a special fully adjustable LAB™ MOLLE panel that allows you to place your gear EXACTLY where you want it. No more having to space your pouch based on the MOLLE pattern. You can put the MOLLE PANEL where you want it. A special Kydex tool is provided to allow the MOLLE PANEL to be easily placed and secured. A special pocket on the inside of the inner belt stores the Kydex tool so you have it with you at all times.

You can place your LAB™ MOLLE PANELS around your holster, plastic mag pouches, knife scabbard, etc. You can morph any of your gear that fits a 1-3/4" belt around the system components OR you can build a custom belt with our system components. The belt configuration is up to you and your budget. Any future LAB™ belt accessories will fit so your belt will stay up to date.
