Just received the belt so haven't really had a chance to test it fully. First impressions is that it is well made. It's also slim and ridged. I like the look of it and fit.

The belt is very stiff and will hold everything I need. The 2 inner belts I got are also great because you get a 1.5 and 2 inch. You can use it as a edc belt if you like and easy to adjust. Overall very great product

Great! Only thing is went on sale a week after I got them. Comfortable and quality!

If you’re reading this, you have a specific purpose in buying a belt such as this. The market is currently saturated with tons of choices, some of which are so overpriced it makes no sense. At the end of the day ~ it’s a belt. Enter AWS… Their version is by far the best one I’ve tried. So much so, I purchased one. It has every feature I was looking for. I own several AWS products currently, so I knew how bombproof the construction would be. At this price point, the belt is a “no brainer”. There’s not another brand on the market where you’ll get more for your money. I fully expect this belt to endure years of use. One more thing I’d like to add… The customer service you get here is hard to find these days. I botched the sizing on my order (my fault). One email to AWS and just a couple days later ~ all was corrected and I had the correct size in hand. Get yourself one of these. Great product & a GREAT company!

This belt can take a beating. It is made of high quality materials which makes it feel very durable. Running a full size handgun, pistol and AR mag pouches, a knife with holster, and med pouch with no problems. I am loving this belt.

Just acquired my second SMU. These belts are exactly what a gun or battle belt should be. Stiff, but sized to be comfortable, with laminate molle that is exceedingly strong. For the price…these are as good or better than any other on the market. Don’t hesitate to purchase one!

I did extensive research on updating to a 2 piece belt from a padded HGSI war belt design. The composite material used on this belt is next level - and matches up perfecting to the CP SPC type composite on my plate carrier. I ordered this on a Monday and it was received on the far upper left coast within 72 hours! Absolutely impressed with the design, quality, rigidity of the composite molle, and the 1.5" inner belt rigidity. Absolutley perfect design. For reference I generally wear a 36" pant size and ordered the large and its a perfect fit. Train hard with your gear, stay frosty and buy American. AWS is leading the way! Cheers -

This belt is fantastic definitely "extreme duty" I have had this belt for over a year now and have put alot of strain on it but it has held up nicely. Minor scratches and cosmetic damage but overall the belt seems just as sturdy as when I first purchased it. Shipping was extremely fast compared to other manufacturers mine came in just a week. Just ordered another for my ERT set up.

I purchased this belt roughly a year ago and since then I acquired another. I have 2 identical setups. One for duty and the other for the range. I am a patrol officer that wears this belt daily and it has been nothing but outstanding. The stiffness and quality of the stitching is solid. I’ve owned numerous belts from big name manufacturers and this belt not only competes, but outperformed them. Most of the other belts lost stiffness or the stitching came undone over time, or became worn down quickly. If I had to issue my entire department a belt, the SMU would be it. I have a 36” waist and I wear a large for comparison if anyone is wondering on sizing.
