I like dual purpose items so instead of using my dangler/hanger pouches attached to a PC I like using fanny pack as a IFAK carrier so I can use daily or without my PC. The snack pack is prob the best one I've used so far. There is velcro lining in EVERY pocket. The main, the front and rear are all walled with velcro covering the whole surface. As you see in the pictures, the main pouch has velcro on both front and back. The rear and front pouch has velcro on one side. I can attach my TQs on the bottom bungee retention cord and I can attach addition items such as trauma scissor pouch/sleeves on the front straps via molle. I got a Multi Cam one to use with my kit for range/field and a Ranger Green one for EDC. I could fit a Glock 19 in the main pouch and might be a squeeze but maybe even the 17. AWS gear is always top notch. Their customer service is even better. Due to high volume of sales during 4th of July week, the order took a couple days longer then their usual time but upon emailing AWS, they responded within two days apologizing for the inconvenience. I didn't mind waiting or even expected an apology, just emailed to find out if my order was going to be delivered in time as I am moving soon. Anessa assured me it'll arrive before my move date and I was surprised to find two GP pouches included in my order for the inconvenience. AWS earned a lifetime customer. Their slaps are also fire as well. Thanks to Anessa and the AWS team.
I’ve used several different Fanny packs during my career. Primarily as my Ifak. Every single one I’ve run has had short-comings. I even spent more and had a custom one done. It was great…right up to when the stitching started failing. I saw AWS had the original Fanny Pack, but it wasn’t what I required. Then I saw this new one. Ordered it after Anessa said she believed I’d like it. It arrived after 3 days. We’ll…I have to say…she was right…it’s exactly what I was looking for. Great size…a little taller and wider and every pocket is Velcro lined. Organization is important to me and this pack shines. My job requires me to carry much more than ammo, medical on my person at all times. Because this Fanny works, I mounted the Ifak on the belt and I’m running this as more of my required GP. It’s perfect. Materials and workmanship or as always…perfect from AWS. I’ve been running gear from them for a long, long time. I’ve never had a piece fail…worn out…of course, but never a problem with zippers, thread etc. I cannot honestly say that with other companies. I cannot recommend this Fanny pack enough. Hell…I’m going to by another for a different set up.
