Double duty gym pack
I bought this to use for gun-stuff as well as gym-stuff and it's doing both very well! I use the helmet pocket to hold my lifting shoes and it has room for bands, clips, preworkout, tape, socks, and many snacks. It's great. I can even fit a light sweatshirt. Not to mention it's got a patch spot on the front!

Awesome pack
Been using this pack everyday for a year now and it’s the best backpack I’ve ever owned. Loved the adjustable clips that allow you to pack a surprising amount inside. Well made, durable, and love the color selection

AWS Assault Pack
Great product, well thought out and manufactured. Would highly recommend AWS!

Great pack
Quality is great, just like I’ve experienced sith other AWS products.

Nice little pack
Definitely a good day pack or assault pack for most uses. Could benefit from some modernizations such as a removable or replaceable structured panel/frame instead of one that is strictly sewn in. Not sure if that is an improvement on the other Assault Pack offered by AWS but it is present on the USGI BTAP from the SOFLCES kit. I love the triple row MOLLE on the sides as I can put whatever pouches I want there instead of being stuck with two unusable off shaped pouches like the BTAP has. Had I known that the other offering from AWS had a removable beaver tail via zipper I would have probably opted for that one instead (needed this one in M81 though so it's a hard choice). Overall this one is my personal favorite in comparison to the Eagle Yote and BTAP.

One sweet little pack
This thing is nice. Couldn’t see spending twice as much for other variants. Made in USA too. Picked up one in God’s plaid. Needed something for a small daypack that could carry my helmet if needed. Works out perfect.

Perfect Little Pack
It may be small, but it has many compartments and MOLLE for additional attachments. This makes it a great day pack for the airport and other activities where a minimalist approach is preferred.

Assault Pack Type II
Great quality backpack! It was exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Makes a perfect 24hr pack and is comfortably worn with my plate carrier on.

Overall, good pack.
Pros: Overall, build quality and materials are excellent! Comes in Woodland! (I wish it came in MultiCam too.) Priced well, especially when on sale! Although factoring in the cost of adding two side pouches, you'll end up paying around what a T-Rex Arms Eagle Yote costs; this has the benefit of adding side pouches that match your specific needs. Slick back-panel is a plus if you'll only use this as a stand alone backpack. Con: The inside of the main compartment doesn't have piping on the seams. The melted edges on mutiple points inside the bag are sharp; so sharp, in fact, they they will tear most lighter denier materials, like those used on compression bags, etc. I'll have to be more conscious on what I place inside the main compartment - this limits usability. Metal hardware - I personally prefer plastic Durafelx/Woojin hardware.
